A few of my favorite little happenings from these past couple of weeks. :)
^^ We spent 4 social media less days in Miami for Charles’s birthday and it was such a restorative trip. We slept in each morning and picked 2 things to do each day so we wouldn’t run ourselves ragged (like we usually do when we travel.) Also, Miami at night > Miami during the day. Also, also… If you know me and my slow blogging ways, I probably won’t start recapping our time here until next year lol. Gotta get through Greece, Turkey, Jordan, and Maine posts thennnnn I’ll get to Miami. Also, also, also, new Greece post coming your way next week. :)

^^ We got back from Miami on a Wednesday, went to work Thursday, Friday and then found ourselves driving down to North Carolina for Charles’s friend’s wedding. Then last weekend, we drove down to the 757 for Charles’s aunt’s wedding.
Weddings make me feel nostalgic in the most romantical way. Every time Charles and I go to one, I think about our wedding day (is it still called a wedding if we technically eloped?). The jitters, excitement, the wealth of love… It makes me so thankful to have found my special person and happy that our friends and family are finding their ones too.
^^ A rare weekday breakfast date. We got up extra early and made the pilgrimage to our favorite 24 hour diner in Northern Virginia, Amphora, for pancakes and french toast on a Wednesday morning before heading to work.
^^ Charles as Teen Wolf for Halloween. He wearing his costume to work and won their costume contest! Proud wife here. :)
^^ My Mommy Ma and bro, Kris, were in town for a few days. It was great to catch up with my fam since the last time I saw everyone was at my Ma Tom’s funeral ceremony.

^^ Fall leaves by day and Fall leaves by night. The weather has been a little crazy this week. It was 70 degrees on Monday, 50 degrees and raining on Tuesday, 40 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, annnnd today the temps are supposed to get down into the 20’s. Four words = Downward spiral into winter…. I’m not ready for it.

And that’s all I’ve got for today. Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with positive energy, people, and food. ;)
