Unfortunately, my body clock is a morning person and as such, I’m never able to sleep in on the weekends. Fortunately for you, I woke up at 6:07am last Saturday and couldn’t fall back asleep. So I stared out the window and saw coral pink clouds floating in the distance. Of course, I thought “Might as well watch the sun come up until the rest of the world wakes up” And that’s just what I did. I walked up to the roof of our apartment’s garage and watched the horizon give birth to the sun. For a lady who claims to prefer sunsets over sunrises, I must admit this sunrise was pretty darn spectacular.
It’s in these moments that I wish I had a DSLR camera instead of my rinky dink iPhone. I took over 20 photos and am only sharing 5 because most of the pics don’t do the sunrise justice. But until then my iPhone will have to suffice… All I want for Christmas is a DSLR camera… Wink, Wink to anyone who reads this blog …. Gramma?

Oh and me? I’ll just be home this weekend, laying low as usual … funemployed. But who knows?
